About Me

As a student in BCIT’s Aviation Operations and Management program, I’m finally seeing what makes the entire aviation industry’s cogs turn. This includes everything from the organized chaos of airport operations to airline management and safety. It’s been incredible to watch my passion for aviation and academic studies come together.

My passion for aviation started way before I ever sat in a cockpit. I was the kid looking at the sky and going to airshows. This interest led me to my first flights gliding in Schweizer 2-33s, before I moved on to powered aircraft, starting with the Cessna 172.

That exploration part in me doesn’t stop when I’m on the ground. I’m always up for a spontaneous road trip around BC to find a hidden gem, whether it’s a great scenic trail or a perfectly quiet lakeside. It’s really my favourite way to disconnect, slow down, and just appreciate the journey.

I bring a blend of hands-on flight experience, seven years of leadership experience from volunteering, and a commitment helping others through aviation. My focus on teamwork, precision, and purpose is what makes me unique.

Planes & Flying

Aviation has always been a huge part of my life and something that constantly inspires me. I love attending airshows and spending time spotting unique or rare aircraft. It’s always exciting to see different designs, liveries, and the precision of pilots in action with my own eyes.

I started my flying journey in the summer of 2023 with gliding, flying on Schweizer 2-33s. This gave me lots of practice for an entire year which let me feel the air, reading the weather, and build some sort of experience flying by myself and with others.

In 2024, I began learning powered flight starting with Cessna 172s, where I further built my experience as a pilot and learning the technical side of aviation. I fly every once in a while to keep my skills sharp and to continue doing what I love. Each flight reminds me why I chose this path and motivates me to keep progressing toward my future in aviation.

Adventures

Whether it’s spontaneous road trips around B.C. or exploring new spots in and around Greater Vancouver, I have always loved going on short adventures. I enjoy finding hidden gems, from scenic viewpoints and mountain trails to small local cafés and quiet lakesides. To me, adventures like these feels like a new opportunity to disconnect, explore, and appreciate the beauty around me. I’m always reminded to slow down, enjoy the journey, and make the most of every moment. I love the freedom, curiosity, and sense of discovery that come with every new experience.
